TAKE YOUR FIRST STEP

What Do You Do Now?

If you’re realizing something needs to change… That’s not a bad thing. That’s where real faith begins.

Following Jesus is not passive. It’s not something you believe once and move on. It requires a response.

In Scripture, when people encountered the truth… They didn’t just think about it. They did something.

THE FIRST STEPS ARE CLEAR

Repent
Be baptized
Begin following

Not someday.

Not when it’s convenient.

Now.

WHAT DOES REPENTANCE LOOK LIKE?

Repentance is not just feeling bad about sin. It’s not saying, “I’ll try to do better.”

Repentance means:

Turning
Changing direction
Leaving your old life behind

It’s a decision that shows up in your actions.

That means:

  • Walking away from what you know is wrong
  • Letting go of what you’ve been holding onto
  • Choosing obedience over comfort

WHY BAPTISM MATTERS

Baptism is not just a symbol. It’s a declaration. It says: “My old life is gone.” “I belong to Jesus now.”

In the Bible, people didn’t wait months or years. When they believed…They were baptized. Baptism doesn’t save you.

But it does mark your decision to follow Jesus publicly.

BEGIN FOLLOWING

This is where everything shifts. Following Jesus means:

  • Listening to Him
  • Obeying what He says
  • Letting Him lead your life

Not perfectly. But consistently.

DON’T DELAY THIS

Most people feel conviction……and then wait.

They say:
“I’ll deal with this later.” But delayed obedience is still disobedience.

If God is speaking to you right now… Don’t ignore it.

YOUR NEXT STEP

You don’t need more information. You need to respond.
